DON'T LIVE ANYHOW

"And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

How do you want your story to end? According to Joshua chapter 2, Rahab was a professional prostitute. Everyone in Jericho knew her. No one gave her a chance. She had been classified and put in the compartment of failures and never do wells. I don't know where you are today. I know you call yourself a Christian. Maybe you say you love God with all your heart. You go to church. May be you are even an officer of the church. These are not what makes you a Christian. The real issue is how is your life? How do you want your story to end? Do you want to live your life by jumping from one bed to the other with a man? Is that what you want? Is that the story you want for your life? That is not enjoyment. No! It is death!

           

God has determined a glorious end for you but it depends on you. We can walk away from that glorious end depending on the decisions we make about our lives.

           

Today we have a clientele of people who are too much in a hurry to make it. They want to wear the best designer dress and drive the best cars. And there is nothing wrong with that; so long as it is obtained legitimately. We have young people who are in the teens hanging around and looking for a quick night stand with people who are old enough to be their parents. Some young people today want to make themselves couriers to people who have lived their lives.

           

I read in my bible that wealth gotten by vanity shall greatly diminish (Proverbs 13:11). When God sent spies into Jericho it was not an accident that they lodged in the house of Rahab. Immediately they got to her house, the king of Jericho, because he knew that Rahab has received some guests, sent a message to inquire about her guests. Her action could mean life or death for her. She came to a point of decision. What will you do when you find yourself at such a cross road of life. Where you have to choose between right and wrong and between life and death. Always remember you have a choice.
